Custom Wristbands for Events and Merchandise

Custom event wristbands do two things at once: they control who enters and where, and keep your brand on the wrist for days. We offer Tyvek, vinyl, fabric, silicone, and NFC chip versions, priced between €0.10 and €4 per unit depending on the material, suitable for access control or corporate merchandise. Production starts at 25 units, and you can see the design on screen before approving anything.

Choose the Material Based on Event Duration

A common mistake is choosing wristbands by price and finding on the second day that half the attendees have broken theirs or passed it to a friend. The rule of thumb is simple: for a single day and high volume, use synthetic paper like Tyvek (water-resistant, single-use adhesive closure: it breaks when removed and can't be reused); for two or three days or repeated access, choose vinyl or fabric with a sliding closure; for attendees who will keep it as a souvenir, opt for silicone or woven fabric. For access control, unique numbering or QR codes read with a mobile are sufficient; if you also want cashless bar credit or to scan the same wristband at multiple points without printing anything, fabric with an NFC chip is the way to go.

At a conference or trade show, it's wise to separate levels: one colour per profile (attendee, speaker, staff, press) with the same background design. The door team can identify profiles at a glance, without needing to read each person's accreditation. If you're already assembling the event kit, check out what we do in merchandise for events, trade shows, and conferences: wristbands pair well with custom lanyards in the same corporate colour and with other door materials.

Merchandising wristbands, beyond the event entrance

Not all wristbands are handed out at an access control point. A customised wristband for companies works just as well for internal campaigns: sports challenges and charity runs, on-site safety programmes, anniversaries, and social cause campaigns. In these cases, silicone or woven fabric is the logical material, as no one keeps a Tyvek wristband that tears when removed, and the message is on the band itself — engraved or woven — rather than printed on top. They serve as an inexpensive reinforcement for a campaign: distributed on the spot and still visible weeks later.

In mass distribution, it performs better when not alone: the staff team in customised T-shirts of the same colour, the wristband for the public, and a QR code on the band leading to the campaign page. And if you prefer sending instead of handing out, each person can choose the colour or model from the portal in their language and receive it at their address.

What Can Be Customised

  • Logo and text along the entire band, in one or multiple colours. In Tyvek and vinyl, the print is continuous; in woven fabric, the logo is integrated into the thread; in silicone, it's in bas-relief, sunken into the rubber, so it doesn't wear off with use.
  • Band colour customised according to your brand manual's Pantone reference from medium runs, and different series by attendee profile or event day (Friday, Saturday, full pass). In silicone, additional finishes like segmented, marbled, or glow-in-the-dark are available.
  • Sequential numbering, unique barcode or QR code per wristband, for access control and to cross-check against your attendee list.
  • Closure and adjustment: single-use adhesive in Tyvek and vinyl, plastic slider in fabric, snap closure in silicone; child and adult sizes where applicable.
  • Kit extras: embedded NFC chip, whose address can be changed after the event without reprinting anything; pocket or charm; and delivery inside custom boxes when the wristband is part of the welcome pack for speakers, staff, or sponsors.

How It's Done

  • Design and preview. Send us your logo in vector format (SVG, PDF or AI), and if you only have PNG, we'll vectorise it. We place the logo on the chosen model, with the size and colours that fit a 19 mm width, and show you the customised wristband on screen before you approve anything. Colour series and numbering are also finalised here.
  • Production and marking. Each material has its technique: repeat printing on Tyvek and vinyl, sublimation or jacquard on fabric, debossing on silicone. We produce from 25 units, so you can adjust the order to the actual attendance instead of overbuying out of fear of running short. A standard order is usually ready in two to three weeks from artwork approval; silicone, custom Pantone colours, and NFC chips require more time.
  • Delivery. To the office, the event venue on setup day, or distributed to addresses in Spain and across Europe. A single invoice, with breakdowns if you need to separate items by event or department.

Where They Fit and What They Pair With

Festivals and open days use Tyvek for volume and the low cost of controlling a single day. Conferences and trade shows often prefer fabric with a sliding closure: it lasts three days, looks better in photos, and attendees don't perceive it as a ticket. Races, employee days, and family activities work with silicone, as people keep them on for weeks. For restricted area access or cashless bars, NFC is ideal. If the event is internal, the wristband is often paired with promotional gifts for companies at the welcome point.

They pair well with other printed event materials and the Pekata box, which includes a band, label, and card with your branding when delivering a kit to speakers or sponsors. If sustainability is a purchasing criterion for your company, recycled fabric bands and durable silicone age better than single-use plastic: in eco-friendly merchandising you'll find the rest of the range with the same focus.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an event ID wristband with a logo cost?

It depends on the material. Single-use Tyvek ranges from 0.10 to 0.30 € per unit, vinyl from 0.25 to 0.60 €, fabric with a sliding closure from 0.50 to 1.20 €, and silicone from 0.40 to 1 €. With an NFC chip, it rises to 1.50-4 € per unit. These are indicative prices, with the logo applied and excluding VAT, and decrease with volume.

What is the minimum order for customised wristbands?

The minimum order is 25 units: we produce from 25 units, so you can adjust the order to the actual attendance of the event. That said, the unit price significantly improves from a few hundred wristbands of the same model, as the cost of preparing the print is spread over more units. For very short runs, fabric or silicone makes more sense than Tyvek.

How long does it take for an event wristband order to arrive?

Typically, it's two to three weeks from preview approval, including production and transport, for Tyvek, vinyl, and fabric. Silicone takes three to five weeks, as the marking mould needs to be made, and wristbands with NFC chips take a bit longer, as each chip is encoded individually. If you have a fixed event date, let us know when requesting a quote, and we'll plan backwards from the setup day.

What marking technique is used for each type of wristband?

For Tyvek and vinyl, the logo is printed in continuous repetition along the band, in one to four colours. Fabric uses full-colour sublimation or weaving the logo into the thread (jacquard), which lasts longer but requires a simple design. In silicone, debossing is most durable: the logo is recessed into the rubber, so it doesn't wear off with use or water, and can be colour-filled for visibility from a distance; embossing is reserved for bold logos. On a 19 mm band, the logo should be clean: few colours and no fine gradients.

Can each wristband have a unique number or QR code?

Yes. You can print sequential numbers, different barcodes or QR codes on each wristband, which are used to check access against the list of registered attendees or for raffles: a mobile phone is enough to read them. If you also want bar balance or to scan the same wristband at multiple checkpoints, the option is fabric with an NFC chip. You can also create different colour series for staff, press, speakers, and attendees with the same design.

Are wristbands only for access control or also for merchandising?

Both. Many companies order them without an event in mind, for an internal sports challenge or an on-site safety campaign, and here the wristband needs to last weeks: the material is silicone or woven fabric, not single-use synthetic paper. As merchandising, they are inexpensive per person and remain visible days after distribution.

Are there wristbands made from recycled material?

Yes. The fabric band is also made from recycled polyester from bottles (RPET), about 20 mm wide, with a clip closure and the logo sublimated in full colour; it costs slightly more than the standard fabric. It's the option when the purchase is part of an eco-friendly merchandising plan, along with silicone, which stays on for weeks instead of ending up in the bin at the end of the day.
